Gregg Nemschoff
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Sometimes you may find yourself at a point in life where you feel lost. You know that you need someone to talk to but just haven’t yet taken that step. Maybe you feel like a ship without a rudder, aimlessly veering from one crisis to the next which feels exhausting and pointless. More than anything though, you may feel hopelessly misunderstood and that no one cares.

Each of our lives has a unique, important story to tell and whether this is your first time in therapy or you’re a therapy veteran, my aim is to help you to connect with your own unique story and authentic voice. I strive to have you feel deeply seen and heard as the individual that you are, and not box you into a pre-packaged intervention.

At its heart, therapy is a conversation; I will use both intellect and intuition to help you to put your life back in focus. My style is empathic and non-judgmental, but also guided, direct and active. We’ll work together toward increased insight and will practice putting into action practical feedback from each session. My approach is grounded in evidence-based techniques utilizing principles that have been shown to be highly effective. Every therapy session is an opportunity for you to discover a new path and to have an ‘a-ha’ moment that leads to positive change.

Primarily, my focus is on treating adults who are struggling with mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, and difficult life transitions like adjustment co college, a new living situation, divorce or retirement. I also work with people experiencing symptoms of OCD.

It would be my privilege to work with you. Call today and let’s get started on your new path! I look forward to meeting you soon.
