Online Therapy

You’ve been thinking a lot lately about maybe seeing someone. But every time you start to give it some serious thought, you run up against the same problem – how will you possibly fit it into an already completely overwhelming schedule?

You need the support but figuring out how to add one more “to do” on your list each week just feels exhausting. Maybe you’re the primary provider of your children’s care and have no babysitter or maybe there are current health issues that affect your ability to drive right now. Or perhaps you live in a more rural area which makes getting to our office unrealistic. Either way, it can all feel very frustrating and isolating.

Here’s How Integrity Psychological Services Helps Adults with Online Therapy:

Integrity Psychological Services has therapists who have specific training in the provision of online therapy. An online therapy visit allows you to see and talk to your therapist from your mobile device or computer and it works the same as an in-office visit with your therapist who will listen closely, and work with you to solve the problems that bring you to counseling.

The best part is that you don’t have to be “techy” at all to participate in online counseling. Your therapist will send you a link to their online “waiting room,” and with just one click, you’ll be connected to our secure, HIPAA-compliant video program and your session will begin. It’s that easy.

The research shows that online therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy. The science also shows that CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) delivered over the internet delivers the same results in the same time frame as in person counseling and that online therapy participants benefit from treatment for depression, anxiety, trauma and other mental health issues in the same way as in-office therapy clients.

Some of our clients choose to do a combination of in-person and online therapy. And that’s okay too.

Integrity Psychological Services is a caring, warm and non-judgy group of psychologists, counselors and therapists. We understand the challenges that you may be facing and can help you to sort them out in a collaborative, warm and supportive way.
