Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP)
Maybe you’ve done the therapy thing before and need a tune up. Maybe you’re
“stuck”—either on something that’s changed in your life or in the world around us—or just in general. Maybe something just feels strange or unsettling and you need another perspective.
Change is intimidating, even when we take it one step at a time, and often we can’t see the full picture without stepping away from the lens for a wider view.
Your situation, just like you, is unique, and I can help you through it. I’m here to honor your struggle and help you build on the skills you have. I can help you respect past decisions that led you here while defining which ones can help from here on out.
I have a background in working with children ages 10+, adolescents and adults in many aspects of mental health: anxiety and depression, ADHD, stress management, PTSD, as well as relationships and communication skills. I am a LGBTQ+ and relationship minority affirming therapist who also works in those realms and have a welcoming, genuine, engaging, and honest approach.
We’ll work together as a team, focusing on what works best for you. Starting at the beginning can sometimes be daunting. If this is your first rodeo, you may be worried about being judged and labeled. If you’re a therapy regular, opening to someone new can be scary, especially when it comes to thoughts, emotions, stresses, and life’s challenges. I promise you one thing: our time together will be non-judgmental and tailored to what you want from therapy.
As a queer male therapist, I have experience with living with an anxiety disorder, and feel that there is not one specific approach for every situation. Let’s explore what could be the best fit for yours.
We will get you to where you want to be, and we’ll have fun along the way. Let’s begin!
